Finding Special (Certain) Printed Articles

To find articles of a certain journal, first search the name of your concerned journal via the library's integrated system. Refer to the journals unit and study or make a copy of that journal's articles if the journal is available in the library.

Finding electronic Articles

Articles are usually published in journals and many journals are published in electronic format in addition to the printed format. You can find electronic articles in a tool called Journals Articles Website.

Using the articles website enables you to search hundreds of different journals, concurrently.

The library usually subscribes different articles bases and/or prepare the accessibility to it from which some cover a particular topic and some cover various topics. All bases prepare citation information for you (such as article's name, author(s), journal's name, issue, year,…).

Some bases include the main text of the article as well.

You can read articles continuously, then print or save them or send them to yourself via email.

The Journals Articles Websites Address

In order to use articles websites refer to the "Informational bases" located on the "Resources Searching" menu on the central library website(library.um.ac.ir).

There, informational resources have been categorized based on the type and language of the resource.

For example if you need a Persian article, select the "Persian Electronic Articles" option.

Link of the bases and websites that the university has access to them in the form of subscription or free of charge have been put there.

Latin Electronic Articles

In order to use Latin electronic articles bases, enter the "Latin electronic articles" page as above, select one of the bases and search on the searching page (the advanced search preferably).

There is accessibility to bibliography information and articles' abstract in most Latin electronic bases.

After studying the article's abstract and making sure of your choice, find the digital object identifier (doi) of the article by clicking on the article's title.

Accessibility to Full Text of Latin Electronic Articles

Regarding that direct accessibility to full text of Latin articles is not possible via the publishers base at the moment, you can use the PAD (Knowledge Sharing Base) system to have access to the full text.

Just input your student number and portal password in the PAD system entrance.

Then select the "Article Requesting" option and input the (doi) and click on send and then download the original article at the "successful requests" section.

Accessing to full text of articles existing on the civilica website (conferences articles website) is possible via the PAD system. Just identify your intended article on (civilica.com) copy the permanent link of the article on PAD, the "civilica requesting" section to have access to the original article.

Accessibility to Articles from Other Centers

If your required articles is not available at the library complex and accessible bases of the university and another university or center has it, you can refer to the librarian of the Amin project so that the needed attempts for copying your required resource get done.
